This unprecedented period of time has affected us all in wide-ranging ways and continues to do so. Many of us may well be anxious, uncertain or perhaps are missing spending time with love ones or coming to terms with a recent loss. We would like to share with you a few resources below that may provide you with a source of strength and spiritual sustenance as you navigate this present time.

Daily Hope offers music, prayers and reflections as well as full worship services from the Church of England at the end of a telephone line.

Can you be an everyday hero?

  • Reach out to that person who lives by themselves who may be feeling lonely. A text takes seconds and might brighten their day to know that someone cares.

  • Ring a friend or family member; better still, Skype or FaceTime so they can see you too. A friendly voice or face may be just what they need.

  • Help a neighbour or older person in the community with their shopping if you are able to.

  • Share your time with others - there are already lots of pop up events like online coffee meets and catch ups so people can connect and converse.

  • Share activities that people can engage with for free - join one of the free online concerts started by Chris Martin and John Legend. Arrange to meet you friends online who share your musical preferences.

A huge thank you to the Gessey family who sent in a wax melt to every staff member in school. It is much appreciated – thank you!
