Collective Worship

Collective Worship is at the heart of our life as a Church of England School.  It is an engaging and fulfilling part of school life. Recognising the innate spirituality that all children possess, through our Collective Worship, we seek to support our children in their own capacities for, and sense of, true awe and wonder. We seek to encourage them to contemplate the existence of God in order to respond, from their own level of understanding and belief, to any offering, be it through prayer, song or drama.

Now you’re dressed in a new wardrobe. Every item of your new way of life is custom-made by the Creator, with his label on it. So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.

Colossians 3:10;12-14 MSG

We had a fantastic time celebrating Christingle albeit virtually! Each class shared something creative that they had prepared linked to this special festival. Year 4's contribution can be seen to the left.
